Garvald

Garvald is a small East Lothian village nestled in the Lammermuir Hills, about 40 kilometres east of Edinburgh. Reach it via the A1 and local roads through Stenton, or take the scenic route from Haddington through farming country. The village serves as a gateway to hill walking routes and contains a 12th-century church with exceptional medieval grave slabs featuring intricate Celtic carvings.
