Garmouth

Garmouth sits where the River Spey meets the Moray Firth, accessible via the B9015 from the A96 trunk road. Most visitors come from Elgin (20km) or use it as a Speyside whisky trail base, with over 20 fast chargers nearby for electric vehicles. The village's defining landmark remains the stone railway viaduct pillars standing in the water where Scotland's premier salmon river flows into the sea.
