Galmpton perches above Devon's South Hams coastline between Salcombe and Kingsbridge, accessible via the A381 from Totnes then coastal roads through Kingsbridge. Long-distance visitors follow the M5 to A38, then A381 south, whilst locals often arrive from nearby Salcombe or Hope Cove along scenic coastal lanes. The 13th-century Holy Trinity church contains a remarkable medieval rood screen with original painted saint panels.
