Freeport, MI

Freeport is a tiny farming community of 523 people in Barry County, about 30 miles southwest of Grand Rapids via Highway M-37. The most direct routes use M-37 from either direction or connect through Interstate 94 near Paw Paw. Gerald R. Ford International Airport is 35 miles northeast for air travelers. The town's 1873 one-room schoolhouse still stands along M-37.
