Frank Hill forms part of Oldham's urban sprawl in Greater Manchester, surrounded by the typical post-industrial landscape of the northwest. Access is straightforward via Junction 21 of the M60, with the A663 providing direct routes into the area. The M62 trans-Pennine motorway lies nearby for longer journeys, whilst local traffic relies heavily on the A669 and A627(M). Electric vehicle infrastructure is excellent, with over 300 fast charging points locally. The area's quirky claim to fame is its concentration of both historic municipal baths and modern spa facilities, including the substantial Therme Manchester complex.
