Flax Bourton is a North Somerset village 8 miles southwest of Bristol, positioned between the Mendip Hills and Bristol Channel. The A370 runs through the village, connecting Bristol to Weston-super-Mare, whilst the M5 Junction 19 lies 3 miles east for longer journeys. Bristol Airport sits just 2 miles south, making this a convenient base for air travellers. The village church houses a remarkable 13th-century limestone font with original Norman carvings.
