Findhorn

Findhorn sits where the River Findhorn meets the Moray Firth, nine kilometres northwest of Forres via the B9011 through Kinloss. The A96 provides the main connection for longer journeys from Inverness (40km) or Aberdeen (180km). The village centres around the famous Findhorn Foundation, an ecovillage and spiritual community established in 1962 that started with three people growing remarkable vegetables in sandy soil.
