Ferindonald

Ferindonald sits on Skye's Sleat peninsula along the A851, connecting scattered island communities via single-track roads with passing places. Most reach it via the Skye Bridge from Kyle of Lochalsh, then south through Highland scenery. Local routes serve nearby villages like Teangue within minutes, whilst longer journeys to Portree take 45 minutes. Approximately four public fast EV chargers serve this remote area. The village overlooks the Sound of Sleat, where seals regularly haul out on rocky shores below the main road.
