Ferbane is a market town in County Offaly, sitting along the River Brosna in Ireland's midlands. Most visitors arrive via the N62 from Athlone (25 km northeast) or connect through Birr from the southwest. The town centre is dominated by St. Mel's Church spire from 1860, which you can spot from kilometres away across the flat boglands. The surrounding countryside is classic midlands territory with working farms and stretches of bog. There are about 18 fast charging stations in the area for electric vehicles making longer journeys.
