Feolin Ferry

Ireland

Ireland

Feolin Ferry is a tiny settlement on Islay's northeast coast, serving as the main ferry link to neighbouring Jura. Reach it via the A846 from Port Askaig, just 1km away after arriving on the main Caledonian MacBrayne service from Kennacraig. Popular routes head south to Port Charlotte (26km) through whisky country. The actual Feolin Ferry crossing to Jura takes just five minutes but doesn't run on Sundays.
