Farber is a small farming town in north-central Missouri, about 25 miles northeast of Columbia via US Highway 54. The area features rolling prairie with corn and soybean fields. Most visitors arrive from Columbia (30 minutes) or St. Louis (90 minutes via I-70 to US 54). The town's historic grain elevator towers over the surrounding farmland and serves as a visible landmark for miles.
