Englishcombe is a small village just southwest of Bath, reached via the A367 Wells Road from the city centre. The A46 from the M4 Junction 18 provides the main approach for visitors, whilst local connections include routes to Odd Down and the A36. The 12th-century church of St. Peter boasts one of Somerset's finest Norman doorways with remarkable carved stonework.
