Elm City, NC

Elm City is a small town of 1,300 people in eastern North Carolina's Wilson County, positioned along the coastal plain between Wilson and Rocky Mount. US Highway 301 runs right through town, connecting north to Rocky Mount (15 miles) and south to Wilson (20 miles), while State Route 4 provides east-west access. Most traffic involves daily commutes to these larger towns, though US 301 also serves long-distance travelers as an alternative to Interstate 95.
