Elland occupies a prime spot in the Calder Valley between Halifax and Huddersfield, easily reached via the A629 from M62 Junction 24. The A6025 and B6114 provide local connections, whilst the M62 serves longer journeys from Manchester or Leeds. With over 200 public EV chargers nearby and good bus links, it's well-connected for modern travel. The town's crowning glory remains its spectacular 1838 railway viaduct with 32 stone arches.
