Elandslaagte lies on the Mpumalanga highveld, not far from Dullstroom and Machadodorp, so most locals reach it via the N4 and connecting district roads. It is close enough to towns like Motetema and Kromdraai for a quick day trip, while visitors coming from places like Lamberts Bay or Babanango are clearly on a longer haul.
