Edgeworthstown (Mostrim)

Edgeworthstown sits on the N4 between Dublin and the west, about 120 kilometers from the capital with direct motorway access via the M4. The town serves as a handy stop along this busy corridor, with around 30 electric vehicle chargers available for longer journeys. It's a short spin from Longford town on the R392, or you can reach it from Athlone (45km) or Cavan (50km) through quiet midlands roads. The town's named after the Edgeworth family, whose estate forge created the elaborate iron gates that still stand at St. John's Church, crafted by local blacksmiths in the 1790s.
