Edgbaston lies just southwest of Birmingham city centre, reached via the A38 Bristol Road running north-south through the district, or the A456 Hagley Road from the east. The M5 motorway sits 6km west, whilst Birmingham Airport is 15km southeast. With over 350 EV charging points across greater Birmingham, electric vehicle access is well-supported. The area houses the University of Birmingham's main campus, dominated by the distinctive red-brick Aston Webb Building and its 100-metre clock tower from 1909.
