Reach it via the A49 then local roads west, or the B4371 from Church Stretton through the valley. Most visitors come from Shrewsbury (25km) or Ludlow (20km) on local trips. The village connects to neighbouring settlements like Longville in the Dale via narrow country lanes. Ancient field boundaries still divide the surrounding farmland into irregular patterns established centuries ago.
