East Farndon is a small Northamptonshire village three kilometres from Market Harborough, reached via the A427 and local roads from the A6. Long-distance visitors typically use the A14 to connect with the national road network. The surrounding countryside features gentle hills and traditional farmland typical of the Welland Valley. The village church houses a remarkable medieval wall painting of St. Christopher, discovered during restoration and regarded as one of the county's finest examples.
