East Dundee is a small Fox River city about 40 miles northwest of Chicago, reached via Route 25 from I-90. The historic riverside community connects to West Dundee by bridge and serves as a gateway to the Fox River valley. The former Haeger Pottery factory operated here for over a century, creating collectible art pottery.
