East Clandon is a Surrey village on the A246 between Guildford and Leatherhead, easily reached from the A3. The settlement sits on the North Downs with good connections to West Clandon and scenic Newland's Corner. Guildford lies four miles west for shops and services. The 13th-century Church of St Thomas of Canterbury houses remarkable medieval wall paintings uncovered in the 1960s.
