East Burrafirth

East Burrafirth is a small coastal settlement on Shetland's west side, reached via the A971 from Lerwick in about 45 minutes. The village overlooks Aith Voe and serves as a handy base for exploring the western peninsulas, with Aith and Bixter both nearby. You can still spot ancient stone fish traps in the bay at low tide.
