Earsdon, Northumberland

Earsdon is a small Northumberland village about 20 miles north of Newcastle, reached via the A1 and A697 through Longhorsley. The area features typical rolling countryside with scattered farms and woodlands, experiencing the region's mild, often overcast climate with frequent light rain keeping everything green. The preserved pithead baths from the former Lynemouth Colliery now house medical facilities, reflecting the village's shift from its coal mining past.
