Dungarvan (Waterford)

Ireland
Dungarvan sits where the Colligan River meets the bay on Waterford's coast, perfectly placed between the Comeragh Mountains and the Atlantic. The N25 connects you straight to Cork (45km) and Waterford city (50km), while the R672 gives you a lovely coastal run from Tramore and the R671 brings you down through mountain country from Clonmel. There's grand charging infrastructure with about 20 fast stations for electric cars, handy for those doing the Waterford Greenway or touring the Copper Coast. The old courthouse clock tower from 1861 still stands proud at the heart of town, marking the crossroads where Main Street meets O'Connell Street.
