Dunfermline, Fife's former royal capital, sits at the heart of the kingdom's road network on the M90 between Edinburgh and Perth. The A907 cuts through the town centre, whilst the A823 heads north to Kinross. Regular trains serve Edinburgh and Glasgow on the Fife Circle line, and there are over 100 EV charging points locally. Robert the Bruce is buried beneath the abbey's pulpit.
