Dunbeath

Dunbeath is a small coastal village in Caithness reached via the A99, about 25km south of Wick. It's a popular stop on the North Coast 500 route, with dramatic clifftop views and a small fishing harbour. The village has decent EV charging facilities and sits where Dunbeath Water meets the sea through a steep glen. The Heritage Centre celebrates local author Neil Gunn, whose novels depicted Highland life.
