Drypool

Drypool forms part of Hull's eastern districts, sitting along the River Hull just minutes from the city center. The A1033 Hedon Road provides the main route through the area, connecting Hull to the East Yorkshire coast, whilst the A165 runs north-south toward Bridlington. Local traffic uses Leads Road and Holderness Road for cross-city journeys. The distinctive blue Drypool Bridge still lifts for river traffic, marking this former fishing village's maritime heritage.
