Drybridge, Moray

Drybridge lies in Moray's agricultural heartland, accessed via the A98 coastal road and connecting B-roads from Buckie and the surrounding fishing villages. The A96 trunk road provides the main long-distance connection, whilst local routes serve commuters heading to Elgin and coastal settlements. The area enjoys Scotland's driest climate in the Grampian rain shadow, supporting the barley fields that supply nearby distilleries. The village takes its name from an old stone bridge over the local burn.
