Drumlish is a small midlands town in County Longford, easily reached via the R194 from Longford city 11 kilometers southeast. From Dublin, take the N4 west to Longford then head north on local roads. The R396 connects from Cavan to the north, while western visitors can use the N63 through Roscommon via Ballinalee. The town's claim to fame is its ancient round tower, over 1,000 years old and one of the few medieval structures left standing in the county.
