Drumcondra lies 50 kilometers northwest of Dublin along the N3 in County Meath, making it a handy spot for day trips or as a base for exploring the eastern midlands. The N3 runs straight through from Dublin toward Cavan, while the R154 and local roads connect you to the surrounding farmland and villages. It's close enough to the capital for commuting but keeps its rural feel, with about 25 fast chargers in the area for electric vehicles. The real draw here is Headfort Golf Club, featuring two championship courses including the Old Course from 1928, where ancient trees have been standing guard over the fairways for nearly a century.
