Drimoleague is a handy stop in West Cork, sitting about 80 kilometres southwest of Cork city on the N71 route to Kerry and Beara. The town connects easily to Skibbereen (15km south) and Dunmanway (20km northeast), making it a proper crossroads for exploring the region. West Cork Distillers runs just outside town, where they make Irish whiskey in copper pot stills and give tours of their purpose-built craft distillery. There's decent electric vehicle charging about, with around 9 fast chargers in the area for those doing the Wild Atlantic Way.
