Donnelly is a small farming town of 277 people in west-central Minnesota, about 12 miles southwest of Morris via Highway 9. Most visitors arrive from the Twin Cities by taking I-94 west to Highway 28, then Highway 9 southwest. The surrounding prairie landscape features endless corn and soybean fields, and the town's historic grain elevator stands as a prominent landmark along the highway.
