Doneraile sits in County Cork's Blackwater Valley, 35 kilometers north of Cork city along the N20 Cork-Limerick road. This small town makes a handy stop between the two cities, with Mallow just 10 kilometers south handling most commercial traffic. The main attraction is Doneraile Court's 400-acre deer park, where one of Ireland's largest herds of fallow deer wander freely among ancient oaks right off the main street.
