Calculating route...

Dingle sits at the tip of the Kerry peninsula, a proper Gaeltacht town where you'll hear Irish spoken in the pubs and shops. The N86 from Tralee is your main route in, a grand 50-kilometre spin through the countryside. From Dublin it's a fair trek of 350 kilometres, best done via Cork and the Ring of Kerry. The working harbour is the heart of things, with fishing boats and tour vessels heading out to the Blaskets. Fungie the dolphin has been living in the bay since 1983, making him something of a local celebrity.
