Desert Palms, CA

Desert Palms is a small desert community in Riverside County's Coachella Valley, about two hours east of LA via I-10. The town of 6,600 sits between Palm Springs and Indio, accessible via exits at Cook Street or Washington Street. Route 111 connects it to other valley cities, while Palm Springs International Airport is 15 miles northwest. The area still maintains working date palm groves where Medjool dates are harvested using century-old traditional methods.
