Derrybeg (Doirí Beaga)

Derrybeg is the unofficial capital of the Donegal Gaeltacht, where you'll hear more Irish than English in the shops and pubs. The town sits on the N56, 45km northwest of Letterkenny, making it a handy base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. Donegal Airport is 15km southwest if you're flying in. The R257 offers a grand scenic route through the Derryveagh Mountains past Glenveagh National Park.
