Dawlish Warren occupies a narrow sand spit jutting into the Exe Estuary, combining a popular beach with an important nature reserve. Reach it via the A379 from Exeter (20km) or from Torquay via A380-A381-A379, with over 100 EV charging points nearby. The constantly shifting sand spit extends nearly two kilometres into the estuary, reshaped by winter storms.
