Cuidhtinis perches on Harris's southern edge, reached via the winding A859 from Tarbert through 25km of single-track Highland roads. The challenging but scenic drive takes about 45 minutes, with Leverburgh's ferry terminal just 11km away connecting to North Uist. At low tide, you can walk across the sand to small islands that vanish completely underwater during spring tides.
