Crosswater lies in west Surrey between Farnham and Haslemere, accessible via the A287 and local roads through typical heathland countryside. Most visitors use the A3/A31 corridor from London or connect from the M3 via Farnham. The village green centres on a distinctive Victorian octagonal pump from 1897.
