Cross Ways occupies pleasant Somerset countryside between the Mendips and Cotswolds, accessible via the A37 from Bath (8 miles north) or Wells (15 miles south). The M4 Junction 18 provides the main motorway link, whilst Bristol Airport sits 12 miles southwest with over 150 EV charging points regionally. The village's name derives from the historic crossroads where the Bath-Wells coaching route met the ancient Mendip ridge track.
