Crawick

Scotland
Crawick lies in Nithsdale's rolling hills, 2km from Sanquhar market town. The A76 provides the main route north to Glasgow or south to Dumfries, whilst local roads connect surrounding villages like Kirkconnel and New Cumnock. The area's sheltered valley position moderates the climate somewhat. The village houses the extraordinary Crawick Multiverse, Charles Jencks' land art installation built on a former coal site, where massive earthwork sculptures align with celestial events.
