Coveney lies in Cambridgeshire's fenlands, six kilometres northwest of Ely cathedral city. Reach it via the A142 from the A10, or take the B1411 through fenland villages. Most visitors come from Ely or Cambridge, with locals using shorter routes to Wardy Hill and nearby villages. The village church houses a rare medieval stone rood screen, one of few surviving in England.
