Cottage Grove is a Twin Cities suburb about 20 miles southeast of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, connected primarily by Interstate 494. The city features rolling terrain with small lakes and wooded areas throughout its 35 square miles. Highway 61 runs north-south through town, offering a scenic Mississippi River corridor route.
