Cosgrove lies just outside Milton Keynes in Northamptonshire, easily reached via the A508 from the A5. Most visitors arrive from Junction 14 of the M1, whilst locals make short trips to nearby Stony Stratford and Old Stratford. The village sits beside the Grand Union Canal, where the original Victorian lock still operates for passing narrowboats.
