Cortland West is a small community of about 1,000 people in central New York's Cortland County. Take I-81 to Exit 11, or use Route 13 which connects to Cortland city and Ithaca. It's a 45-minute drive south from Syracuse and 20 minutes north from Ithaca through scenic Finger Lakes countryside. The area sits among rolling hills and farmland with homes overlooking agricultural valleys that have defined the region since the 1800s.
