Corofin (Galway)

Corofin sits right on the Clare-Galway border along the R460, making it handy for trips to either county. From Galway city, it's about 45 minutes via the N18 south through Gort, while Ennis is only 25 kilometers up the same road. The village serves as a good base for exploring the area, with winding roads through gentle hills and stone-walled fields leading in all directions.
