Cornforth is a former mining village in County Durham, easily reached via the A688 from the A1(M) or through local roads from Durham city. The area has over 150 EV charging points nearby. The preserved pithead baths building, now an auto parts shop, serves as a striking reminder of the village's coal mining past.
