Cooraclare is a quiet village in County Clare that makes a handy base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way coast. You'll find Kilkee's cliffs and beaches just down the road, while the village itself has a proper traditional music scene with céilí dancing at the community center on Friday nights. The N67 coastal road runs right through, connecting you to Kilrush and Milltown Malbay, or you can take the R483 from Ennis for a more direct 35-kilometer run through the countryside.
