Cocklaw

England

England

Cocklaw is a small Northumberland settlement reached via the A6079, about 30km west of Newcastle. Most visitors use the A69 to Chollerford, then turn north, though locals often prefer the scenic B6318 Military Road that follows Hadrian's Wall. The area has good EV charging facilities in nearby Chollerford and Hexham. Just 2km away lie the Roman cavalry barracks at Chesters, featuring Britain's best-preserved Roman bridge abutments.
