Clonmore (Tipperary)

Clonmore lies along the N76 between Kilkenny and Clonmel in County Tipperary, surrounded by dairy farming country. The village sits 25 kilometres southwest of Kilkenny and 15 kilometres northeast of Clonmel, making it a handy stop on the main route. Drivers from Dublin take the M7 to junction 19, then local roads for about 140 kilometres total, while Cork visitors go north via the N8 and N24 for roughly 80 kilometres. The local Catholic church has a rare 12th-century round tower, one of the few medieval examples left standing in this part of Tipperary.
